On a Saturday in April

Sitting here sprawled out in a collapsable chair on my fire escape and it’s abundantly clear that summer is finally here. It’s lovely to see that the seasonal garden in the parking lot of the grocery store across the road has changed it’s location and is now running adjacent to Pacific Ave. I’m anticipating a wall of flowers and plants to greet me as within weeks.

The only thing missing now is a decent spot to BBQ. I suppose that’s just one of those city living things you’re forced to deal with but the thought of some barbecued checken and ice cold wheat beer on demand is really becoming quite maddening.

Martyn’s not helping much with his 131 remix of Shed’s Another Wedged Chicken. Broken beats and Detroit circuits floating on some junglizm reversed basslines while Kernel Sanders talks some shit about his secret recipe.
