Hardcore will never die. Sadly, I was knee high to a grasshopper when Lennie De Ice’s We Are I.E was in it’s prime. I sure felt it’s aftermath though as the Acid House / Proto-Jungle anthem undoubtedly laid the groundwork that British dance music to follow for the next 20 years.

We Are I.E is set to get a facelift for a new generation as it’s 2008 rmx pack is set to drop on Y4K very shortly. Hijack, Caspa, Rennie Pilgrem and Drums of Death hold the honor of reworking the classic into modern day and with a remix roster like that, it’s a pretty safe bet that justice will be served.
