First post from my time in London. We arrived yesterday in the late afternoon and after a short nap and some Indian Food, we made the trip down to Plastic People for the last FWD night.
Minus the shift guy with a tied back afro-puff pickpocketing unsuspecting girls purses, we had a fucking blast! Killer sound inside that little bar for real. It was really awesome hearing some steppy shit too (most of what gets played back home is uber dark).
Speaking of Dubstep, here’s a few bits we’re feeling recently…
Dutty Artz, a new label forged by Matt Shadetek and Rapture has hit the shelves and have been causing quite a stir.
The Dutty Remix Zero release showcases 4 tunes in total, two of which show off Barcelona’s Cauto on buttons. Our choice Cauto cut is his unofficial refix of Shy FX’s Original Nutta called Old School on the A Side. Be sure to pick up the 12″ for that one! To hold you over, here’s Cauto’s Bona Vida that’s been aired on Sinden’s Kiss 100FM show a few times. HEAT!
Seams like everyone is getting their Dubstep on lately. Add XL recordings to the lengthy list of labels shopping remixes from some of the genre’s big wigs.
Our boy Rusko really did a number on Pop thing Adele’s Cold Shoulder. Some unexpended heat here for sure.

Tonight we’re checking out headed to The End for Bugged Out. Will report back back tomorrow with an update!
