Douster (France) submitted a number of his original productions to the cc mailbox and I must say, I’m quite impressed.

There’s just something about these!

The production is decent, although nothing ground breaking. Truthfully, I think mind blowing production is over rated anyways… Once you get into that whole gear-geek, eq a hihat for 4hours frequency fetish shit you’re on a one way trip to a producers pissing contest.

Douster has going what a lot of producers with immaculate production don’t, a decent sense of what works to shake butts. You can have the slickest most creative sounds known to man, but if your tunes lack that inherent funk .. you’re just wasting your time.

Douster has funk by the trailer load. The studio skills will come in time, but for now he’s got a surplus of what matters most.
