Spent the better part of this weekend cleaning out my feed reader and buying a bunch of new music online. Figured I’d share the best of it here.

I’m sure most DJ’s are familiar with the inevitable request in the middle of a show. Madonna requests haunt me like bad rash, although I have learned to manage them effectivly by just playing some Inner City instead.
This works wonders trust. Especially if the request is coming from someone who is quite drunk or high. Good Life!! woooo yaaaaa I loooooooooooove Madonna!

Crux sent us a promo pack for Bryan Cox’s a few weeks ago. Big distorted 909 drums, grimey reece bass, jackin’ vocals… ysrr just the way we likes it. Bryan’s EP on Crux (backed with rmx’s by Gaetan and 3 is a Crowd) is available for on Beatport mid-to-late March.
Lee Mortimer comes with a wonky bline house mix of JR from Dallas‘ Jazz Ghetto City. Choopped up vocals, jackin’ beats and reso bass.. this tune is pure dance floor amo.
