I’m a bit taken back by this. It seams that Tempa Recordings (Dubstep’s creme de la creme imprint for those unfamiliar) has finally embraced digital downloads as a medium aside from vinyl.
Although Digital Dubstep releases aren’t uncommon, I’m quite surpassed (pleasantly) to see Tempa go this route as well. Tempa has always been one of those premiere labels like Dubsided or Perlon that have held on tight to a vinyl or bust type attitude.
Time will tell if Tempa’s intentions are to keep down this path (and if other vinyl-only imprints will sometime follow suit).
