Some changes
On a Thursday in November
So there’s been a few changes to this blog over the last few days. Actually, only one change but from our perspective it’s a biggie.
Earlier in the week, a few of my favorite tech blogs began reporting on how divshare (oneclick host for all our mp3 content) has been showing signs of selling, shutting down shop, etc etc..
Being the pro active go-getter I am, a hunt for a more stable hosting solution was immediately underway. After a ton of research, it turns out the most reliable, fastest and least spam saturated alternative was to begin hosting files on our own webspace… WHO KNEW!!
So from today onward, divshare is getting the dick slap. No more zoltan crystal ball pop-ups or lavalife ads.. straight goods from now on kids!
yay!
To commemorate, here’s fantastic bit from my friend xi. The story is that at the time this was made he was listening to a lot of Grime. Wondering why most grime is about guns and gash he decided to create this alter ego MC named “Murklin” who would only spit educational rhymes. Here’s one about the importance of eating breakfast in the morning.

Just watch yourself if you are gonna post mp3’s on your own server.
We got nailed for that from our ISP. We did not get shut down but we had to pull all our mp3s off the server. There is room for deniability if the mp3’s aren’t hosted RIGHT on your server because your blog is just linking to external content.
