If you told me 8 years ago that one day I’d be writing this post I would have never believed it.
In my past day’s as a drum and bass dj, my tastes in music were (and still often are) a bit darker and techno sounding.. “Jump Up” as the kids called it, was a bubbling big top circus music strain of Jungle often held to be somewhat immature, uncreative and cheesy.
Fast forward ten years and my iTunes most played list is littered with Bassline Garage tunes that can be best described as today’s translation of jump up dumbness.
Break out the camo hoodie and pillz, there’s catching up to do!
