Please forgive the lame factor of this post. I certainly don’t ever want this blog to become some blah blah blah online personal diary but fuck me I’m wicked excited about this.

I bought a new mixer last night! This is a well deserved purchase. I used my last mixer for close to 10 years and its glitches were growing in frequency to a creative cock blocking level.
It was missing knobs, had tape on the faders to keep them from sucking into the box, the headphone jack was well shit and I had to jiggle it about to get it working sometimes.

My new Ecler NUO2 is nothing toooo fancy. But does the trick for what I need and has some cool features to boot (big fat eq controls, light weight etc).

What does this all mean?? I’ll be making mixes again soon! Maybe now I can get the blog’s long overdue podcast off the ground as well.
