On a Saturday in October

Over the last month or so I’ve been re-visiting a number of old 2step garage classics. One I distinctly remember was Mark Ryder’s Joy. Sampling the infectious stabs from Tainted Love and backed with a nice fat rolling bassline, I’m certain that dropping this in a dance these days would set the place on fire.

Only one problem though.. For all the popularity this tune had in it’s day; it’s nearly impossible to find now!

I should say that I did manage to find a copy at htfr, with an insane price tag attached. I also came across the *vocal mix (eww) in mp3 format on some p2p’s also. Here’s a somewhat usable version of the instrumental I nicked from an old Ministry of Sound compilation. If any readers have a clean copy of this please email us!
