take a look at the options to redirect old traffic.

all you gotta do is redirect traffic that goes to your existing feed to your feedburner feed. then get feedburner to check a mirrored version of your feed so that it doesn’t end up in an endless loop.

There be something funky going on with your feed. Scheme is right though, you should be able to audo-redirect w/ Feedburner without having to have everyone resubscribe to the new feed addy.
